JULY 21 – FIND

7/21                 Isaiah 40:31
But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.

FIND

The Lord says at the end of my rope I will find more rope and at the end of my strength will His strength.  Thank you Lord for this wonderful promise of your presence and power coming to life in my life.  Help me face the trials of this day.  Strengthen me so that I will remember that you are present.  I need you Lord. 

 

 

 

JULY 20 – HOPE

7/20                 Psalm 31:22
In panic I cried out, “I am cut off from the LORD !” But you heard my cry for mercy and answered my call for help. 23 Love the LORD, all you godly ones! For the LORD protects those who are loyal to him, but he harshly punishes the arrogant. 24 So be strong and courageous, all you who put your hope in the LORD!

HOPE

O Lord, my hope is in you.  I know that I know that you are for me.  We have history together.  I need you Father.  Every moment of every day I need you.  I know that I cannot stand in the face of evil and far too often find myself at odds with a Christ like life-Help me Lord.  Help me.  I know you will answer.  Thank you Lord. 

 

 

 

JULY 19 – HOPE

7/19                 Ecclesiastes 9:4

4 There is hope only for the living. As they say, “It’s better to be a live dog than a dead lion!”  

HOPE

Our hope is in the Lord Jesus Christ.  He is the only way to the Father.  There is no other name under heaven by which we might be saved.  Jesus is the only way-He is our hope.  Trust in the Lord with all your heart and He will always be with you. 

 

JULY 18 – TODAY

7/18                 Psalm 42:11
Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God!

TODAY

Thank you Lord.  Today is my day of discouragement and I need you.  I will trust you and hope that your intervention will change me.  I know you will see me through but my real need is refocusing my heart and my mind.  Cleanse me Lord of all fear and oppression and I will change my frown to a smile.  I am confident in you Lord. 

 

JULY 17 – LIGHT

7/17                 2 Samuel 22:29-32
O LORD, you are my lamp. The LORD lights up my darkness. 30 In your strength I can crush an army; with my God I can scale any wall. 31 “God’s way is perfect. All the LORD ’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection. 32 For who is God except the LORD? Who but our God is a solid rock?

LIGHT

Lord today as everyday you light up my life.  I face serious challenges each day and you Lord see through them bringing me your strength and power.  I feel this strength and power this moment Lord.  Thank you for your light.  It changes everything.  It puts me in a good place.  You shield me from many evils and I am grateful.  Deal with my problems today.  Thank you Lord. 

 

 

 

JULY 16 – RESCUED

07/16               Psalm 3: 1-8

O LORD, I have so many enemies; so many are against me. 2 So many are saying, “God will never rescue him!” Interlude 3 But you, O LORD, are a shield around me; you are my glory, the one who holds my head high. 4 I cried out to the LORD, and he answered me from his holy mountain. Interlude 5 I lay down and slept, yet I woke up in safety, for the LORD was watching over me. 6 I am not afraid of ten thousand enemies who surround me on every side. 7 Arise, O LORD ! Rescue me, my God! Slap all my enemies in the face! Shatter the teeth of the wicked! 8 Victory comes from you, O LORD. May you bless your people.

RESCUED

O Lord you have already rescued me and each one of us that name the name of Jesus as Savior and Lord.  We love you Lord.  We trust you Lord.  Help us to count our blessings.  Help us Lord to develop an acute sense of gratitude for all you do for us.  We praise your Holy Name.  We tell everyone about Jesus.  Thank you for waking us up today.  Thank you Lord. 

 

 

 

JULY 15 – SAFE

07/15               Deuteronomy 33:27-29
The eternal God is your refuge, and his everlasting arms are under you. He drives out the enemy before you; he cries out, ‘Destroy them!’ 28 So Israel will live in safety, prosperous Jacob in security, in a land of grain and new wine, while the heavens drop down dew. 29 How blessed you are, O Israel! Who else is like you, a people saved by the LORD ? He is your protecting shield and your triumphant sword! Your enemies will cringe before you, and you will stomp on their backs!”

SAFE

Today and every day you are safe in the arms of the Lord.  He is your refuge.  He is your shield and your sword.  He will fight for you.  You can live your life with His purpose uppermost in your mind knowing that the Lord is on your side. 

 

JULY 14 – TALK

07/14               Psalm 40:1-3
I waited patiently for the LORD to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry. 2 He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along. 3 He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what he has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the LORD.

TALK

Talk to the Lord.  Tell Him what you think.  Let Him hear your pleadings.  Let Him know you trust Him.  Keep on living and doing the next right thing and the Lord will be constantly with you.  He will guide you.  He gives you life and light for living.  Jesus is alive and He is alive in you. 

 

 

JULY 13 – JOY

07/13               Isaiah 41:10
Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.

JOY

Today you can have joy, God is with you.  He declares through His prophet Isaiah 2,800 years ago that He the Lord cared for you.  He declared in Jesus Christ that He cares for you.  You do not have to live a life of fear for God is with you and He will strengthen and help you.  Real joy!

 

 

 

JULY 12 – FEARLESS

07/12               Deuteronomy 31:8
Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you.

FEARLESS

You have faced fear and known fear.  Now in Christ you can be fearless.  Jesus knows all about you.  He knows your need before you do.  Christ is your victory, your strength your shelter.  He will protect you.  You can be fearless!
