12/15 Isaiah 9:6
6 For a child is born to us,
a son is given to us.
The government will rest on his shoulders.
And he will be called:
Wonderful Counselor,[a] Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
PROPHECY
This is a prophetic message of hope during a dark time.
This tells us someone is coming, and he is human and divine.
He will give us divine insight, guidance and understanding.
This affirms the deity and power of Jesus.
He will be the source of true and lasting peace.
