“Perpetual Presence”
(Inspired by Hebrews 13:5)
1
The world shifts,
people come and go,
seasons change,
but I remain.
2
Silver fades,
gold loses its shine,
the treasures of earth vanish,
but My promise stands.
3
Do not chase what withers,
do not fear what fails,
I have spoken once,
and My word does not break.
4
When you walk through silence,
when loneliness lingers,
when the walls close in,
I am still here.
5
No hand can pull you from Mine,
no shadow can erase My light,
no storm can drive Me away—
I will never leave you.
6
You have sought security in riches,
in plans that crumble,
in men who turn away,
but I have always been near.
7
Even when you doubted,
even when you wandered,
even when fear spoke louder—
I never let go.
8
I am enough,
more than all you could gather,
more than all you could lose,
more than all you could long for.
9
Rest, knowing this:
You are not abandoned,
not forsaken,
never alone.
10
From the first breath to the last,
through joy and sorrow,
through darkness and light—
I am with you, always.
