01/07 Matthew 9:16-17
“Besides, who would patch old clothing with new cloth? For the new patch would shrink and rip away from the old cloth, leaving an even bigger tear than before. 17 “And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. For the old skins would burst from the pressure, spilling the wine and ruining the skins. New wine is stored in new wineskins so that both are preserved.”
NEW
Jesus brings us a new ethic. He says love your neighbor as yourself. Forgive your enemies. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and soul. We are just passing thru this world for this place is not our home. We live with the Lord in eternity from the very moment that we ask him into our heart. Jesus is Lord.
