I Am Coming Soon
1
The voice speaks again,
like thunder wrapped in promise,
like a whisper cutting through time,
“Behold, I am coming soon.”
2
Not as a child in a manger,
not veiled in weakness,
but as King, as Judge,
as the Beginning and the End.
3
The words are faithful,
not distant hope, not empty delay,
but certain, unfolding,
written before the world began.
4
The seals have been broken,
the trumpets have sounded,
the bowls have been poured,
and still, mercy lingers.
5
Blessed are those
who keep these words,
who watch, who wait,
who stand unshaken.
6
The faithful hold fast,
their hands on the lamp of truth,
their hearts set on the One
who was, who is, who is to come.
7
The nations rage,
the earth trembles,
the dragon wars against the Lamb,
but the victory is already sealed.
8
The river of life flows,
the tree of healing stands,
the city of light awaits,
and no darkness will enter.
9
Let the ready rejoice,
let the unready tremble,
for the time is near,
the voice has spoken.
10
“Behold, I am coming soon.”
Not a warning, but a certainty,
not a threat, but a promise—
the end is the beginning.
