04/09 John 12:12-15
12 The next day, the news that Jesus was on the way to Jerusalem swept through the city. A large crowd of Passover visitors 13 took palm branches and went down the road to meet him. They shouted, “Praise God! Blessings on the one who comes in the name of the LORD ! Hail to the King of Israel!” 14 Jesus found a young donkey and rode on it, fulfilling the prophecy that said: 15 “Don’t be afraid, people of Jerusalem. Look, your King is coming, riding on a donkey’s colt.”
JESUS
Jesus comes in the name of the Lord. In fact, He is God in the flesh. He came for us so that we could know about God and about how much God loves us. HE is our king. He is Lord. Follow Him.
04/08 Zechariah 8:9
9 “This is what the LORD of Heaven’s Armies says: Be strong and finish the task! Ever since the laying of the foundation of the Temple of the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, you have heard what the prophets have been saying about completing the building.
GROW
Grow in Christ. We do that by knowing Him. We know Him by spending time praying, Bible Study, meditating and serving Jesus. Get to know Him better. He is Lord.
04/07 Romans 8:11
11 The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.
YOU
You are God’s child. Don’t waste your time losing. Turn to Jesus and ask Him about everything and How to do everything. He will guide you.
04/06 Romans 6:4
4 For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.
NEW
We are new creatures in Christ. He gives us a new heart and a cleansed mind. He is Lord. We follow Him.
04/05 Matthew 28:8-11
8 The women ran quickly from the tomb. They were very frightened but also filled with great joy, and they rushed to give the disciples the angel’s message. 9 And as they went, Jesus met them and greeted them. And they ran to him, grasped his feet, and worshiped him. 10 Then Jesus said to them, “Don’t be afraid! Go tell my brothers to leave for Galilee, and they will see me there.” 11 As the women were on their way, some of the guards went into the city and told the leading priests what had happened.
SEEN
Jesus was seen by too many people for his resurrection to be a hoax. Too many eyewitnesses. What to you think about Jesus? It’s important that you trust Him and follow Him. Jesus is Lord.
04/04 Mark 16:11-16; 19-20
11 But when she told them that Jesus was alive and she had seen him, they didn’t believe her. 12 Afterward he appeared in a different form to two of his followers who were walking from Jerusalem into the country. 13 They rushed back to tell the others, but no one believed them. 14 Still later he appeared to the eleven disciples as they were eating together. He rebuked them for their stubborn unbelief because they refused to believe those who had seen him after he had been raised from the dead. 15 And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. 16 Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned. 19 When the Lord Jesus had finished talking with them, he was taken up into heaven and sat down in the place of honor at God’s right hand. 20 And the disciples went everywhere and preached, and the Lord worked through them, confirming what they said by many miraculous signs.
CHOICE
Do we choose Jesus or do we ignore Him. There is no fence sitting in the family of God. He is Lord and He is in charge.
04/03 Matthew 28:1-6
1 Early on Sunday morning, as the new day was dawning, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went out to visit the tomb. 2 Suddenly there was a great earthquake! For an angel of the Lord came down from heaven, rolled aside the stone, and sat on it. 3 His face shone like lightning, and his clothing was as white as snow. 4 The guards shook with fear when they saw him, and they fell into a dead faint. 5 Then the angel spoke to the women. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6 He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead, just as he said would happen. Come, see where his body was lying.
PAID
He paid the price for our salvation. He died that we might live and was raised by the power of God. He is seated in Heaven with the Father and is always interceding for us. His prayers towards you are greater in number that the sands on the seashores. Jesus loves you.
04/02 Romans 8:34
34 Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us.
NO ONE
No one, nothing can condemn us. Jesus has all power over life and has destroyed death. He is Lord. We serve Him.
04/01 Romans 6:9
9 We are sure of this because Christ was raised from the dead, and he will never die again. Death no longer has any power over him.
POWER
Jesus has real power. The kind of power that impacts our lives daily. To live is Christ. To die is gain. Jesus is Lord.
03/31 Philippians 2:8-10
8 he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross. 9 Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
CROSS
Birthed into our world.
God willing came to show us what He is like.
He did that by dying on the Cross for us.
The sinless One for the sinner. Each and every one of us.
Ignominy, pain, sacrifice and perfection all reside in Jesus.
He knew the sin of ever person ever born.
He sweat drops of blood. He did it for us. He loves us.
One day He is coming back to get all of us.
He will come back in judgment. Everything will end on this Earth.
His name is above all names. He is wonderful.
Every knee will bow. God the Father will honor the Son. Jesus.
