03/01          Romans 5:3-5

3 We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. 4 And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. 5 And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love. 

REJOICE

We are striving for endurance and Godly character.

Trials and problems stretch our faith and endurance; and help us grow.  

God loves you-us.  Be loved.  Be strengthened.  Stand in Jesus by faith. 

He will give you what you need to survive and thrive.  Jesus is lord.  

02/28               1 Samuel 12:22

22 The LORD will not abandon his people, because that would dishonor his great name. For it has pleased the LORD to make you his very own people. 

HE

The Lord, He is God and there is no other.  

He chose us to be His very own people.  

We are special to Him, each one of us.  

Jesus is Lord.  

02/27               1 Kings 8:57

57 May the LORD our God be with us as he was with our ancestors; may he never leave us or abandon us. 

STAY

We ask the Lord to stay with us.  We have a great need for him.  

We need Him to function.  He provides wisdom, mercy and grace for each day.

Do not fret.  Do not fear.  God is here with us.  He stay with us always.  

02/26               Psalm 118:6

6 The LORD is for me, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me? 

NOTHING

I am victorious in Jesus Christ.  He is my savior and Lord.  

Today is under His control.  I am safe.  He loves me.

Tomorrow never comes.  Every day is a day controlled by Jesus.

No one can do anything that will hurt me.  Jesus is in charge. 

02/25               Romans 8:37

37 No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. 

LOVED

Jesus gives us His victory because He loves us.  He cares for us.

His goal is that we learn and experience a Godly life.  It is different.  It is Holy.  

The fruit of a Godly life is joy and peace.  We are no longer at war with God.  

Jesus has given us His joy and His peace.  We are part of God’s family.  

02/24               Psalm 112:1

1 Praise the LORD ! How joyful are those who fear the LORD and delight in obeying his commands. 

JOY

We look for joy.  Nowhere to be seen.

We kneel before God our Father and pray to Jesus and our joy returns. 

The joy that the Lord gives lasts.  

The joy that the world gives is very temporary, sometimes only minutes.  

Seek the joy that stays.  Jesus loves you.  

02/23               Psalm 20:7-8

7 Some nations boast of their chariots and horses, but we boast in the name of the LORD our God. 8 Those nations will fall down and collapse, but we will rise up and stand firm. 

STAND

We stand in the name of the LORD.  He is our safety, our fortress, our protection.

We do all things in the name of the Lord.  He is king.  He is creator.

He organizes our world, our life, our day and we serve Him.  

Nothing can take us away from Him.  Nothing can separate us from Him.   Jesus is Lord of all, and He lives in us.  He is our boast.  Jesus is Lord. 

02/22               Psalm 40:2-3

2 He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along. 3 He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what he has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the LORD. 

PRAISE

Praise the Lord.  He is worthy of all of our praise.

Praise the Lord.  Heartfelt and unwavering praise for our Creator.  

Praise the Lord.  He is Holy.  His love puts me on the correct path. 

Praise the Lord.  He is trustworthy and faithful.  

Praise the Lord with song.  Sing a hymn of praise to our Lord and God.  

Praise the Lord.  Jesus is king!

02/21               Psalm 52:8-9

8 But I am like an olive tree, thriving in the house of God. I will always trust in God’s unfailing love. 9 I will praise you forever, O God, for what you have done. I will trust in your good name in the presence of your faithful people.

TRUST

I will trust God.  

I will trust Him today. 

I will trust Him in success. 

I will trust Him in failure. 

Great is our God.  He will not fail us and I will trust in Him.  

02/20               Romans 8:31

31 What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? 

WHO?

If not demons, then who?

If not powers and principalities of the air, then who?

If not our failures, then who?

Who can stand against us?  Jesus is the One who saves.  

The Holy Spirit indwells us.  The Father loves us.  

Who can stand against us?  No one, nothing, not even death.
