10/13          PSALM 17:6

6 I am praying to you because I know you will answer, O God. Bend down and listen as I pray.

BEND DOWN
I am overwhelmed with the thought that the Creator, Father, my Abba would bend down when I pray so that they could listen to me.  It adds zip and astonishment to my prayer life.  I can hardly wait to be with my Father.  Jesus thank you for bringing me into the family of God.  My Savior.  My God.  Thank you.

OCTOBER 12 – PROVERBS 15:8

10/12          PROVERBS 15:8

NOTE

Please note that you never fool the Lord.  He is always near, and He sees and knows everything you do.  Honest is the best policy with Him.  Trust in the Lord.  Be open with Him and tell Him everything.  Pray.  Listen.  Obey.  God is always good.

NORMAL
You are normal and subject the attack of the evil one.  Turn to the Lord Jesus and trust in Him.  You can only deal with the temptations that you will face in the power of the Lord.  Ask Him to help you.  Turn your trials over to Him.  Everybody faces the same temptations you face.  No one can overcome the evil one unless the Lord does it.  Give your trials and temptations to Jesus.

OCTOBER 10 – MATTHEW 6:7

10/10          MATTHEW 6:7

7 “When you pray, don’t babble on and on as people of other religions do. They think their prayers are answered merely by repeating their words again and again.

THINK

The Lord is your Father.  Jesus has brought you into the family.  Talk with Abba Father as you would if HE were standing in front of you because He is.  He is interested in everything about you.  Talk with Him.  Tell Him what you need. Don’t parse it to tell Him what you think He wants to hear.  Tell Him what you need.  Anything.  Anything at all.  Tell the Father straight from your heart.

10/09          MATTHEW 5:44

REALLife is real.  The commands of Jesus are real.  They are impossible without Holy Spirit, Jesus filled living.  Love the Lord.  Serve Him by serving people.  Jesus loves you.

OCTOBER 8 – JAMES 5:13

13 Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises.

We have a Biblical injunction to pray for others.  Do it.  Whatever season life finds you in we are called to pray without ceasing, always.  Pray.  It is important for your growth in Christ and your daily walk in the power of the Holy Spirit.

OCTOBER 6 – JOB 22:27

10/06          JOB 22:27

27 You will pray to him, and he will hear you, and you will fulfill your vows to him.

DO

Do what you vowed.  When you tell the Lord you will do such and such, do it.  Or be careful what you promise the Lord and you won’t mess up.  It is important that we remember the vows we make to the Lord and also to be sure to do them.  Marriage is in fact a vow to the Lord.  Divorce breaks that vow, and we are the culprit.  Do what you say you will do.
