09/16          PSALM 69:30

30 Then I will praise God’s name with singing, and I will honor him with thanksgiving. 

EXPRESSION

The expression of my praise to God is done in my singing and my gratitude.  Thank you Lord.  I will thank Him with great detail.  I will literally list all the things I can think of for which I am grateful.  Thank you Lord.  

09/15          PSALM 28:7

7 The LORD is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.

JOY
Joy is an activity.  We get it from the Lord when we are open to Him and trusting in Him.  Thank you Lord.  Thank you Lord.  I just want to thank you Lord.  My heart is full.  My life is blessed.  You have filled me with joy.  

09/14          EPHESIANS 5:20

20 And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. 

GOOD

It is good to give thanks.  We need to confirm our dependance on Him.  Our Lord is always good.  Every thought He has towards you is a thought for good.  Bless the Lord oh my soul.  

09/13          PSALM 107:1

1 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. 

ALWAYS

You are always good to us, always faithful to us and You never ever stop loving us.  Thank You Lord.  Thank You Lord.  I just want to thank You Lord.  

09/12          PSALM 119:90

90 Your faithfulness extends to every generation, as enduring as the earth you created. 

FAITHFUL

Father, You are faithful to us with no exceptions.  You are faithful to each one of us.  You are faithful to me.  Thank You Lord for your faithfulness and never forgetting about me.  

09/11          1 THESSALONIANS 5:18

18 Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. 

BELONGWe belong to Him.  Therefore, He calls us to be thankful.  His victory is won, and He carries us moment by moment in His victory.  Jesus loves each one of us.  Live in victory.  Live with honor.  Live in Christ.  Thanks be unto the Lord God almighty for His salvation and sharing His victory with us. 

09/10          PSALM 103:1-5

1 Let all that I am praise the LORD ; with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name. 2 Let all that I am praise the LORD ; may I never forget the good things he does for me. 3 He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. 4 He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies. 5 He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagle’s! 

ALL

With all my heart, soul, and strength I will praise the Lord.  He is worthy of perfect continual praise, and I will give that to Him.  He is good and bestows good on me constantly, unreservedly, and completely.  God is great and much greater than anything I can comprehend.  Blessed be the name of the Lord.  

09/09          JAMES 1:17

17 Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow. 

SURE

Our Lord, God, always does the right thing.  He is sure of what He is doing and He always acts towards us with kindness and good.  Love is His character and He loves us completely and eternally.  Jesus loves. 

09/08          COLOSSIANS 4:2

2 Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart. 

PRAY
We pray with an alert mind, thankful heart and our focus on Jesus.  Listen to Him.  Look to Him.  Let Him guide you as you pray.  Jesus is Lord. 

09/07          COLOSSIANS 3:15

15 And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful. 

ATTITUDE

An attitude of gratitude is the foundation for a successful daily walk in Jesus.  We focus on Jesus and let Him give us His peace.
