09/23          1 THESSALONIANS 5:24

24 God will make this happen, for he who calls you is faithful.

It’s all about Jesus.  Jesus saves us.  Jesus brings us into the family of God.  Jesus keeps us in the family.  Nothing can separate us from Him.  

09/22          1 CORINTHIANS 1:9

9 God will do this, for he is faithful to do what he says, and he has invited you into partnership with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. 

COME

Come, all you who are heavy laden, and Jesus will give you rest.  He will forgive your sin and give you life and that, life eternal.  Follow Jesus.  He is life and light for living.  

09/21          REVELATION 7:12

12 They sang, “Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and strength belong to our God forever and ever! Amen.” 

ALWAYS

God is always God.  He is the one true God.  He loves you.  Bend the knee to Him and ask Him to come into your life, save you and put you on the right track for a changed life (Christ Following.). Jesus is Lord.  We don’t make Him Lord.  

09/20          REVELATION 11:17

17 And they said, “We give thanks to you, Lord God, the Almighty, the one who is and who always was, for now you have assumed your great power and have begun to reign. 

FINALLY

Finally, the things of this world unravel to the point that Jesus returns.  He is coming back.  And we can know Him now so that the day of His return will be a day of rejoicing and not judgment.  

09/19          2 CORINTHIANS 9:15

15 Thank God for this gift too wonderful for words!

LIFE

Life like God’s life is His gift to us.  We are in His family, He is our Father and we love Him.  Amazing God.  Holy Father. 

09/18          HEBREWS 12:28-29

28 Since we are receiving a Kingdom that is unshakable, let us be thankful and please God by worshiping him with holy fear and awe. 29 For our God is a devouring fire.

AWESOME

God is so awesome.  He is much more than we can think or say.  He is the One true God and we need to make sure that we are appropriately awed and filled with a holy fear when we come into His presence.  Thank you Lord God Almighty for saving us, for loving us.  We love YOU.  

09/17          PSALM 136:1-5

1 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. 2 Give thanks to the God of gods. His faithful love endures forever. 3 Give thanks to the Lord of lords. His faithful love endures forever. 4 Give thanks to him who alone does mighty miracles. His faithful love endures forever. 5 Give thanks to him who made the heavens so skillfully. His faithful love endures forever. 

CALLED

We are called to give thanks to the Lord in every way that we can.  It is good to give thanks to the Lord.  

09/16          PSALM 69:30

30 Then I will praise God’s name with singing, and I will honor him with thanksgiving. 

EXPRESSION

The expression of my praise to God is done in my singing and my gratitude.  Thank you Lord.  I will thank Him with great detail.  I will literally list all the things I can think of for which I am grateful.  Thank you Lord.  

09/15          PSALM 28:7

7 The LORD is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.

JOY
Joy is an activity.  We get it from the Lord when we are open to Him and trusting in Him.  Thank you Lord.  Thank you Lord.  I just want to thank you Lord.  My heart is full.  My life is blessed.  You have filled me with joy.  

09/14          EPHESIANS 5:20

20 And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. 

GOOD

It is good to give thanks.  We need to confirm our dependance on Him.  Our Lord is always good.  Every thought He has towards you is a thought for good.  Bless the Lord oh my soul.
