APRIL 27 – 1 PETER 2:23

4/27            1 Peter 2:23

23 He did not retaliate when he was insulted, nor threaten revenge when he suffered. He left his case in the hands of God, who always judges fairly.

APRIL 26 – 1 JOHN 2:15-17

4/26            1 John 2:15-17

15 Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you.  16 For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. 17 And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever.

PLEASE

Please God and walk with Him.  You will find the cares and worries of this world will fade and dim.  Jesus is Lord.  Praise Him.

I will look in triumph at those who hate me.  8 It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in people. 9 It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in princes.

Was it because of his own sins or his parents’ sins?”  3 “It was not because of his sins or his parents’ sins,” Jesus answered. “This happened so the power of God could be seen in him.  4 We must quickly carry out the tasks assigned us by the one who sent us. The night is coming, and then no one can work.  5 But while I am here in the world, I am the light of the world.”
