06/17          Psalm 141:2

2 I pour out my complaints before him and tell him all my troubles. 

CONFESSION

Confession is good for the heart and bad for the reputation.  With that in mind, privately pour out your heart to God.  Tell Him everything and He will help you.  

06/16          Psalm 102:17

17 He will listen to the prayers of the destitute. He will not reject their pleas. 

HURTING

If you are hurting, the Lord will listen to you.  He will hear your heart pleas.  He will respond to your situation.  The Lord will help you.  Seek His presence.  Pray.  

06/15          Psalm 17:6

6 I am praying to you because I know you will answer, O God. Bend down and listen as I pray. 

GRATEFUL

I am grateful to have a loving Father who will listen closely to me.  He listens to me when I struggle or when I am in trouble and always when I need fellowship. 

06/14          Proverbs 15:8

8 The LORD detests the sacrifice of the wicked, but he delights in the prayers of the upright. 

LOVES

God loves His children and such you are if you have asked Jesus to come into your heart, forgive your sin and save you.  The Lord delights in your prayers.  He is willing to spend as much time with you as you will spend with Him.  Keep watch and pray.  Listen for His Word.  

06/13          Matthew 26:41

41 Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak!” 

WATCH

We watch the Lord.  We focus on Jesus.  The Holy Spirit provides the power of God that equips us to stand in the hour of temptation.  So stand in Jesus.  He is Lord. 

06/12          Matthew 6:7

7“When you pray, don’t babble on and on as people of other religions do. They think their prayers are answered merely by repeating their words again and again. 

SPEAK

Speak to the Lord.  Listen to what He says and do it.  The victorious life is powered by the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit.  The Lord equips us to live righteous, powerful lives.   Follow Him. 

06/11          Matthew 5:44

44 But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! 

VICTORY

We seek to become more like Jesus.  He calls us to love our enemies and pray for those that persecute us.  This is a kingdom rule.  We live by it because the power of the Lord God Almighty enables to do the next right thing.  Jesus is Lord.  

06/10          Mark 11:24

24 I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours. 

BELIEVEThe key in successful prayer is believing prayer.  When we know who we are talking with we understand the magnitude of His love for us.  Jesus loves you and is seeking your best good.  Love the Lord. 

06/09          James 5:13

13 Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises.

EASY

It’s easy for us to capitalize on our relationship with our Father.  Suffering requires prayer and happiness calls for singing praises.  Jesus loves you.  Love Him back.  

06/08          John 17:15

15 I’m not asking you to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from the evil one. 

PROTECTION

The Lord, strong and mighty, provides the power we need to be safe under the onslaught of the chaos and evil in the world.  Jesus is Lord and His presence in us guarantees us the right to be safe from the evil one.  Nothing can take us away from the Lord.
