06/22          Luke 11:2-4

2 Jesus said, “This is how you should pray: “Father, may your name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come soon. 3 Give us each day the food we need, 4 and forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us. And don’t let us yield to temptation. 

LISTEN

Listen to the Words of Jesus.  They are wisdom from the Lord.  Keep your eyes upon Jesus, follow Him and He will lead you in the path you should go.  

06/21          Psalm 145:18

18 The LORD is close to all who call on him, yes, to all who call on him in truth. 

CALL

Call upon the Lord.  Talk to Him.  Listen to Him.  Obey Him.  It will change everything you do. God loves you.  

06/20          Psalm 4:1

1 Answer me when I call to you, O God who declares me innocent. Free me from my troubles. Have mercy on me and hear my prayer. 

NO

God can do no wrong.  David is seeking His representation and mercy.  God loves you.  He came seeking you in Christ.  You accepted Jesus.  Now you are in God’s family and He will never leave you, never stop caring for you and He will hear you.  God is perfect.  His love for you is complete and will never decrease.  God loves you.  

06/19          Romans 12:12

12 Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying. 

STOP
Stop being anxious.  Turn to the Lord.  Ask Him for confidence.  Ask Him to lead guide and direct you.  He will do it.  Jesus is Lord.  Follow Him. 

06/18          Romans 12:2

2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. 

CHANGE

Change the way you think and change your life.  Turn to the Lord God Almighty.  Ask Him to give you the words in your heart to say and instruct you in the things that you should do each day.  The Lord will guide you out of your jungle into a pleasant land.  His way is the way of joy, peace and understanding.  Follow Jesus. 

06/17          Psalm 141:2

2 I pour out my complaints before him and tell him all my troubles. 

CONFESSION

Confession is good for the heart and bad for the reputation.  With that in mind, privately pour out your heart to God.  Tell Him everything and He will help you.  

06/16          Psalm 102:17

17 He will listen to the prayers of the destitute. He will not reject their pleas. 

HURTING

If you are hurting, the Lord will listen to you.  He will hear your heart pleas.  He will respond to your situation.  The Lord will help you.  Seek His presence.  Pray.  

06/15          Psalm 17:6

6 I am praying to you because I know you will answer, O God. Bend down and listen as I pray. 

GRATEFUL

I am grateful to have a loving Father who will listen closely to me.  He listens to me when I struggle or when I am in trouble and always when I need fellowship. 

06/14          Proverbs 15:8

8 The LORD detests the sacrifice of the wicked, but he delights in the prayers of the upright. 

LOVES

God loves His children and such you are if you have asked Jesus to come into your heart, forgive your sin and save you.  The Lord delights in your prayers.  He is willing to spend as much time with you as you will spend with Him.  Keep watch and pray.  Listen for His Word.  

06/13          Matthew 26:41

41 Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak!” 

WATCH

We watch the Lord.  We focus on Jesus.  The Holy Spirit provides the power of God that equips us to stand in the hour of temptation.  So stand in Jesus.  He is Lord.
