Slap all my enemies in the face! Shatter the teeth of the wicked!  8 Victory comes from you, O LORD . May you bless your people. Interlude

BLESS

We ask the Lord to bless us and He has.  We are blessed in Jesus Christ, the Savior of mankind.  His Word to us is whosoever will may come.  If you don’t know Jesus simply ask and He will come to You.  Seek the Lord while He may be found.  Jesus is Lord.

Now then, you kings, act wisely! Be warned, you rulers of the earth!  11 Serve the LORD with reverent fear, and rejoice with trembling. 12 Submit to God’s royal son, or he will become angry, and you will be destroyed in the midst of all your activities— for his anger flares up in an instant. But what joy for all who take refuge in him!

REALITY

CHOICE

We can choose Jesus, by faith, accept His free gift of salvation and become part of God’s family.  If we don’t choose Him we are not part of His family.  The result is enmity with God.  Do you really want to be at war with God?  Choose Him.

FREEDOM

The Lord is the only true God.  When He sees us run after evil and surrender our life to the pursuit of self, He knows that our end is destruction.  He is truth and power unto eternity.  The victory has been won in Jesus.  Follow Jesus.  He is Lord.

JAN 22 – PSALM 2:1-3

01/22          Psalm 2:1-3

Why are the nations so angry? Why do they waste their time with futile plans?  2 The kings of the earth prepare for battle; the rulers plot together against the LORD and against his anointed one. 3 “Let us break their chains,” they cry, “and free ourselves from slavery to God.”

WICKED

The wicked stand against God.  When we bend the knee to God we discover freedom in Jesus Christ, He breaks the chains of bondage to sin.  Self-leadership when we are against God results in our finite disappointment.  When we surrender our-self in bondage to Jesus we have infinite hope.  Choose Jesus for He is the way, the truth and the life.  Jesus is Lord.

ALONE
The wicked will traverse the days of their lives alone without God and without any help in the hour of difficulty.  Death will be ominous and there journey will end in perdition.  Seek the Lord when He might be found.

JAN 19 – PSALM 1:3

01/19          Psalm 1:3

They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do.
