08/28               Psalm 18:39

39 You have armed me with strength for the battle; you have subdued my enemies under my feet. 

CAPABLE

You are a capable soldier in the army of the Lord God.  He has equipped in Jesus with every spiritual weapon that you will need.  The Holy Spirit in you keeps you focused and victorious.  Jesus is Lord, He loves you and He leads us in His victory.  

08/27               Joshua 1:9

9 This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” 

REMEMBER

Remember whose you are and who is your Father.  Abba, Father is the Lord God Almighty and you belong to Him.  Jesus is Lord and He loves you.  

08/26               Psalm 44:5

5 Only by your power can we push back our enemies; only in your name can we trample our foes. 

VICTORY

Victory in Jesus.  He cannot be defeated because He has already won.  Stand fast no matter the trouble and the Lord will take care of you.  Jesus loves you.  

08/25               Romans 8:31

31 What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? 

WHO?

Who can be against us?  No one.  The Lord is for us.  Keep your eyes on Jesus.  Walk with Him.  Grow in Him.  He will stand against all the forces of the evil one and will deliver you.  Jesus is Lord.  

08/24               Deuteronomy 3:22

22 Do not be afraid of the nations there, for the LORD your God will fight for you.’ 

LIFE

Life has a way of being disconcerting and difficult.  Sometimes it seems the world is against us.  The Lord is for you.  He will see you through whatever obstacles you are facing.  The powers and principalities of the air cannot overpower you.  Walk in the Lord.  He will fight for you.  

08/23               Joshua 23:10

10 Each one of you will put to flight a thousand of the enemy, for the LORD your God fights for you, just as he has promised. 

TROUBLE

Today is your day.  Your trouble belongs to the Lord.  Trouble finds us but cannot destroy us because the Lord is fighting for us.  Do not be fooled.  The enemy brings trouble but the Lord deals with it.  Stay focused on Jesus.  

08/22               Isaiah 40:31

31 But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.

TRUST
Simply trust in the Lord.  Believe that He is good and perfect and that every thought God has towards you is a thought for good.  He will do it.  

08/21               John 3:8

8 The wind blows wherever it wants. Just as you can hear the wind but can’t tell where it comes from or where it is going, so you can’t explain how people are born of the Spirit.” 

HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit takes us to the Father and fills us with His power so that we can follow Him.  He is not a genie.  He does not operate at our command.  He is God.  The Indwelling Holy God who is in us and equipping us to follow the Lord.  

08/20               Matthew 16:18

18 Now I say to you that you are Peter (which means ‘rock’), and upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it. 

HELL

Jesus has conquered hell.  He is the victor and the fight has been won.  Today we are participants in the last throes of the dying kingdom of the evil one and he will do anything to hurt us.  Jesus is Lord and He will protect us.  Jesus is Lord and we belong to Him.  

08/19               1 Timothy 6:12

12 Fight the good fight for the true faith. Hold tightly to the eternal life to which God has called you, which you have declared so well before many witnesses. 

HARD

Real life is hard.  It is hard every day.  Everyone has a hard time.  Turn to Jesus.  He will stand with you through the hard times and take you home to our ABBA-God when you pass from this life.  Jesus is Lord.  The Holy Spirit fills us with the power of the Triune God.  We have everything we need for life and life eternal in Jesus Christ.
