05/15               1 John 1:8 

If we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth. 

ALL

All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.  Come to Jesus and admit your sin and ask Him to forgive you of your sin and give you new life.  He will give you light and life.  Jesus is Lord.  

05/14               1 John 1:7 

But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin. 

BELIEVE

He who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.  We don’t create the light we walk in His light and truth.  Jesus is Lord.  He is the Lord of all Universes.  

05/13               1 John 1:6 

So we are lying if we say we have fellowship with God but go on living in spiritual darkness; we are not practicing the truth. 

COME
When you come to Christ you come into the light.  You are a new creature.  The chains of sin have been broken and now you have light for living everyday of your life.  Jesus is Lord. 

05/12               1 John 1:4-5 

We are writing these things so that you may fully share our joy.  5This is the message we heard from Jesus and now declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all. 

LIGHT

Before Jesus came we walked in the darkness of our sin.  He died to save us from our sin and has brought the light of God to mankind.  Jesus is the light and in Him there is no darkness.  Christ is our king and Lord.  Jesus Christ is God and brings light to our life. 

05/11               1 John 1:3 

We proclaim to you what we ourselves have actually seen and heard so that you may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. 

FIRST

Everything we tell you is first hand knowledge.  We saw Him with our own eyes.  We know what happened and we tell you, God came in the flesh and resided on Earth with us.  He is God and He loves all of us. 

05/10               1 John 1:2 

This one who is life itself was revealed to us, and we have seen him. And now we testify and proclaim to you that he is the one who is eternal life. He was with the Father, and then he was revealed to us. 

YES

Jesus was here.  Yes we walked and talked with Him.  He said that when we had seen him we had seen the Father. We testify to His miracles.  We saw Him pray.  We know everything about Him firsthand.  Jesus lived a perfect life, put to death on the Cross and was raised to life conquering death by the power of God and is alive today seated at the right hand of the Father. 

05/09               1 John 1: 1 

We proclaim to you the one who existed from the beginning, whom we have heard and seen. We saw him with our own eyes and touched him with our own hands. He is the Word of life. 

JESUS

Jesus was always with the Father, is with the Father, will always be with the Father.  Jesus is Lord.  When you see Jesus you have seen the Father.  Praise the Lord from whom all blessings flow.  

05/08               Psalm 2:10-12 

Now then, you kings, act wisely! Be warned, you rulers of the earth!   11 Serve the LORD with reverent fear, and rejoice with trembling.  12 Submit to God’s royal son, or he will become angry, and you will be destroyed in the midst of all your activities— for his anger flares up in an instant. But what joy for all who take refuge in him!

SERVE
Serve the Lord and rejoice in your everyday life.  God is with us and He rejoices in our good life.  He wants us to be happy and serve Him.  When we serve each other we are serving God. 

05/07               Psalm 2:6-9 

For the Lord declares, “I have placed my chosen king on the throne in Jerusalem, on my holy mountain.” 7 The king proclaims the LORD ’s decree: “The LORD said to me, ‘You are my son. Today I have become your Father.  8 Only ask, and I will give you the nations as your inheritance, the whole earth as your possession. 9 You will break them with an iron rod and smash them like clay pots.’” 

MESSIAH

Messiah prophesied to be coming and He has come in Jesus Christ.  He is the King.  The Creator, the Ruling Monarch of the universe.  Bow to Him in submission or when He returns it won’t be positive.  Jesus is Lord of All.  Our true king and ruler.  Jesus. 

05/06               Psalm 2:1-5

 Why are the nations so angry? Why do they waste their time with futile plans? 2 The kings of the earth prepare for battle; the rulers plot together against the LORD and against his anointed one.  3 “Let us break their chains,” they cry, “and free ourselves from slavery to God.” 4 But the one who rules in heaven laughs. The Lord scoffs at them. 5 Then in anger he rebukes them, terrifying them with his fierce fury. 

CAREFUL

We should be careful by the way we live our life.  We are not at the mercy of the world unless we choose to be.  When we ask Jesus into our life we have a companion who is interested in every detail of our life.  Jesus is our source of life and sustenance for life.  God is not fooled when we thumb our nose at Him.  Choose the Lord Jesus and escape the rebuke of God.
