7/6 Ephesians 2:4-5
4 But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, 5 that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!)
AMAZING
Dead in our trespasses and sin.
God comes looking for us.
He knows what we are and gives us new life.
He knows what we can become and uses us for His work.
We are His children, and it is all because of Jesus.
7/5 Zephaniah 3:17
17 For the Lord your God is living among you.
He is a mighty savior.
He will take delight in you with gladness.
With his love, he will calm all your fears.
He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.”
LORD
Jesus is Lord.
He is with us.
When we ask Him into our hearts it is forever.
He will calm our fears.
He will always be with us.
7/4 1 John 3:1
See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know him.
LOST
The world is lost.
People who love the world do not accept Jesus Christ as Lord.
Therefore, they are lost.
Jesus said that He was the way, the truth, and the life.
And that He was the only way to the Father.
7/3 Romans 8:37-39
37 No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
38 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[a] neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
ONCE
Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
You will never lose that relationship.
Once you are saved you are always saved.
Jesus is Lord.
7/2 1 John 4:16
16 We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.
LOVE
God is love.
We cannot know love apart from God.
For by grace are you saved-His love saves you forever.
That no man can boast-It is the free gift of God.
Jesus saves.
7/1 John 3:16
16 “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
GAVE
Jesus gave Himself willingly as the price of our redemption.
He died for you and me.
He lived a perfect life.
He died a perfect sacrifice.
His death, burial, and resurrection paid the price for our sin.
Now you and I have available the free gift of life eternal.
By faith ask Jesus to give you life.
06/30 Luke 8:15
15 And the seeds that fell on the good soil represent honest, good-hearted people who hear God’s word, cling to it, and patiently produce a huge harvest.
HEAR
We can hear God’s word.
It comes from God to His people.
Choose Jesus and become a part of God’s people.
Stay in the Word and you will hear God.
06/29 Romans 8:29
29 For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.
CALLING
God is calling all to come to Jesus.
Some respond.
Some don’t.
God is calling, listen to Him and respond to Jesus.
Let Him have your heart and lead your life.
06/28 2 Peter 1:5-8
5 In view of all this, make every effort to respond to God’s promises. Supplement your faith with a generous provision of moral excellence, and moral excellence with knowledge, 6 and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with patient endurance, and patient endurance with godliness, 7 and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love for everyone. 8 The more you grow like this, the more productive and useful you will be in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
FILLED
Filled with the Spirit of God.
We are equipped to live like Jesus.
It is a commitment of the heart and the activity of the soul.
Stand close to Jesus and His way will guide you.
Surrender, humility and service will become your epithet.
06/27 Matthew 5:48
48 But you are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect.
PERFECT
We strive to be our best, but perfect?
We work hard each day, but perfect?
Jesus died to save us, He paid the price for our sin.
We are filled with Jesus Christ and His perfection completes us.
Be filled with the Holy Spirit, and stand in Jesus Christ.
Then you will be perfect, as your Holy Father in Heaven is PERFECT.
OUR ONLY STANDING IS IN JESUS CHRIST.
