APRIL 23 – RETURN

04/23          Acts 17:31

31 For he has set a day for judging the world with justice by the man he has appointed, and he proved to everyone who this is by raising him from the dead.”

RETURN

Jesus will return and when He does it will for judgment.  Jesus is coming back.  He is coming back for His children and to judge those who have spurned Him. Jesus is Lord.  Jesus is alive.  Jesus is coming back in judgment.

APRIL 22 – YES

04/22          Romans 8:11

11 The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.

AMEN

I agree with the Word of God.  Jesus will save you if you ask Him.

APRIL 21 – USABLE

04/21          Luke 24:1-12

1 But very early on Sunday morning the women went to the tomb, taking the spices they had prepared. 2 They found that the stone had been rolled away from the entrance. 3 So they went in, but they didn’t find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 As they stood there puzzled, two men suddenly appeared to them, clothed in dazzling robes. 5 The women were terrified and bowed with their faces to the ground. Then the men asked, “Why are you looking among the dead for someone who is alive? 6 He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead! Remember what he told you back in Galilee, 7 that the Son of Man must be betrayed into the hands of sinful men and be crucified, and that he would rise again on the third day.” 8 Then they remembered that he had said this. 9 So they rushed back from the tomb to tell his eleven disciples—and everyone else—what had happened. 10 It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and several other women who told the apostles what had happened.11 But the story sounded like nonsense to the men, so they didn’t believe it. 12 However, Peter jumped up and ran to the tomb to look. Stooping, he peered in and saw the empty linen wrappings; then he went home again, wondering what had happened.

ALIVE

Jesus is alive.  He is alive today and He lives in each one who has asked Him into their life.  Jesus is Lord.

APRIL 20 – YOU

04/20          Romans 10:9

9 If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

YOU

Salvation is a personal thing.  Between a person and Jesus.  Have you asked Him to save you?  Please, if you haven’t start your journey today.  Praise the Lord.  Praise the Lord.

APRIL 19 – AMEN

04/19          Philippians 2:5-11

5 You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. 6 Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. 7 Instead, he gave up his divine privileges ; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, 8 he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross. 9 Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

AMEN

A name above all other names- Jesus- He is Lord.

APRIL 18 – ALIVE

04/18          1 Peter 3:18

18 Christ suffered for our sins once for all time. He never sinned, but he died for sinners to bring you safely home to God. He suffered physical death, but he was raised to life in the Spirit.

ALIVE

Jesus is alive.  He is seated at the right hand of God.  He is alive and lives in you and me.  He guides us, trains us and calls us to His service-Love God with all your heart and mind and soul and love others as yourself.

APRIL 17 – WILLINGLY

04/17          John 19:30

30 When Jesus had tasted it, he said, “It is finished!” Then he bowed his head and released his spirit.

WILLINGLY

Jesus knew what His role was to be and He willingly went to the cross.  He died willingly.  He gave up His spirit willingly.  He loves you and me.  He calls us to come to Him, receive forgiveness for our sin and begin a relationship with Him.

APRIL 16 – AMEN

04/16          Matthew 27:46-54

46 At about three o’clock, Jesus called out with a loud voice, which means “My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?” 47Some of the bystanders misunderstood and thought he was calling for the prophet Elijah. 48 One of them ran and filled a sponge with sour wine, holding it up to him on a reed stick so he could drink. 49 But the rest said, “Wait! Let’s see whether Elijah comes to save him.” 50 Then Jesus shouted out again, and he released his spirit. 51 At that moment the curtain in the sanctuary of the Temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. The earth shook, rocks split apart,52 and tombs opened. The bodies of many godly men and women who had died were raised from the dead. 53 They left the cemetery after Jesus’ resurrection, went into the holy city of Jerusalem, and appeared to many people. 54 The Roman officer and the other soldiers at the crucifixion were terrified by the earthquake and all that had happened. They said, “This man truly was the Son of God!”

AMEN

JESUS IS LORD!

APRIL 15 – PUNISHMENT

04/15          Amos 8:2-3

2 “What do you see, Amos?” he asked. I replied, “A basket full of ripe fruit.” Then the LORD said, “Like this fruit, Israel is ripe for punishment! I will not delay their punishment again. 3 In that day the singing in the Temple will turn to wailing. Dead bodies will be scattered everywhere. They will be carried out of the city in silence. I, the Sovereign LORD, have spoken!”

PUNISHMENT
People talk about who God is and how God does and refute the idea of punishment.  There is punishment and it is coming when Jesus comes back.  He is coming back in judgment.  Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord.

APRIL 14 – TOOK

04/14          Isaiah 53:3-5

3 He was despised and rejected— a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care. 4 Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins! 5 But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.

TOOK

He took my place.  He took your place.  While we were dead in our sins Christ died for us, once for all, the perfect for the imperfect, paying a price we could not pay, to give us a relationship we could not earn.  Jesus is Lord and yet He willingly died for you and me.  He took our place.
