10/06               Psalm 34:17

17 The LORD hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles.

CRY

When you need help cry out to the Lord.  He will hear you and He will help you.  Believe in Him and His promises and the Lord will constantly guide and protect you. Note, believing in the Lord means that you are listening to Him, obeying Him and walking with Him.  When you are in trouble cry out to the Lord and He will rescue you even when you are walking in your own strength.  Cry out to the Lord-He will not forget you. 

10/05               Psalm 34:15

15 The eyes of the LORD watch over those who do right; his ears are open to their cries for help.

LISTENING

The Lord is listening to you.  Are you talking with Him?  Talk with the Lord.  Tell Him all of your needs and what you are dealing with.  Do the next right thing and the Lord will be in lock-step with you. Trust in the Lord and do as He says and He will take care of you. 

10/04               Isaiah 43:2

2 When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.

LIFE

Life is hard.  But, our Lord is bigger than life.  HE is not constrained by time as we are and nothing ever surprises Him.  HE is with us every second.  He knows what is going on in our life.  HE will not fail us.  HE is interceding for us this very moment.  Thank you Lord God who is perfect in all of His ways. 

10/03               Hebrews 13:5

5 Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.” 

FAIL

The Lord does not fail us and he will never fail us.  He is a devoted, loving and caring Father.  He is perfect in all of His ways.  He is the Lord, worthy of all of our praise and devotion and He will never fail us. 

10/02               Lamentations 3:22-23

22 The faithful love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease. 23 Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. 

GREAT

We have a great God who never forgets us.  He provides for us new mercies each day.  Every day has mercy enough for that day.  Our Lord is a great and gracious Lord who prepares for us new mercies each day. His mercies fit each day perfectly. New mercies this day. 

10/01               Isaiah 46:9-10

9 Remember the things I have done in the past. For I alone am God! I am God, and there is none like me. 10 Only I can tell you the future before it even happens. Everything I plan will come to pass, for I do whatever I wish. 

ONLY

Only the Lord can deliver.  He brings goodness to us.  He is above, over, greater than all others.  He is the ONLY true God-He is the Lord and no one helps him.  He is sovereign and complete.  He loves you and me. 

09/30               Psalm 113:1-2

Praise the Lord!  Yes, give praise, O servants of the Lord.  Praise the name of the Lord!  ² Blessed be the name of the Lordnow and forever.

PRAISE

I will praise Him. Every breath I take, every move I make will praise Him.  All praise, honor and glory Lord.  Praise the wonderful name of the Lord.  Jesus, Jesus, Jesus praise His holy name.  Praise the Lord.  With all I do and all I think I will praise the Lord. 

09/29               Psalm 112:1  

¹ Praise the Lord!  How joyful are those who fear the Lordand delight in obeying his commands.

FEAR

Our fear acknowledges God’s good intentions and leads us to wisdom.  It calls us to careful attention to detail and surrender.  Every thought the Lord has towards you is a thought for good. He is a great and gracious Savior. Fear of the Lord includes reverence and awe and an awareness that failure to obey Him results in disastrous consequences.  Our Lord is good and good to us.  Fear of the Lord is the pathway to wisdom. 

09/28               Psalm 111:10

Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true wisdom.   All who obey his commandments will grow in wisdom.

OBEY

The Lord calls us to obey so that it will go well with us.  He knows the end from the beginning and He knows the way we should go for our benefit.  Obey the Lord, do as He says and you will be on the right path for your best good. Jesus loves you. 

09/27               Psalm 128:1

1 How joyful are those who fear the LORD — all who follow his ways!

COMFORT

There is great comfort in living life under the Lord’s leadership. We respect and reverence Him for He is so wonderful.  He is so mighty and great.  His wisdom is beyond anything we can think.  He provides for us.  Jesus loves us.  Follow Him.
