04/24          Psalm 99:6-7
Moses and Aaron were among his priests; Samuel also called on his name. They cried to the LORD for help, and he answered them. 7 He spoke to Israel from the pillar of cloud, and they followed the laws and decrees he gave them. 

ETERNAL
God is eternal.  His life is everlasting.  In Christ He gives us life like himself-eternal.  It is important to know that God never ages, is never limited and He rejoices in giving us His power.  God good, all the time.

04/23          Psalm 99:5 

Exalt the LORD our God! Bow low before his feet, for he is holy! 

DIFFERENT

The Lord is different-He is Holy and we are not.  Jesus died for our sin and imparts His holiness to us-He brings us into the Family of God and gives us rightstanding before the Father so that we can have a relationship with Him.  Jesus is Lord. 

04/22          Psalm 99:3-4
Let them praise your great and awesome name. Your name is holy! 4 Mighty King, lover of justice, you have established fairness. You have acted with justice and righteousness throughout Israel. 

THE LORD

The Lord is Holy.  He is totally different than us.  Even so He seeks to have a relationship with us.  Seek the Lord while He may be found.  Praise Him.  Serve Him.  He is worthy of all praise and honor.  Praise the Lord.  You praise the Lord.

04/21          Psalm 99:2 

The LORD sits in majesty in Jerusalem, exalted above all the nations. 

EXALTED
THE LORD isn’t waiting on us to do anything.  He is the Exalted Lord God.  He is Lord of All.  He is seeking us, planning our best good and would that none perish but His Word and His Work is progressing whatever else we might be doing.  Get on board with Jesus.  Find out what the Lord offers you to do.  It is the best thing you can do.  Seek the Lord.  Seek His face.  He will use you in His work.  He has a job for you that is uniquely suited to you.  Take it and be faithful. 

04/20          Psalm 99:1

1 The LORD is king! Let the nations tremble! He sits on his throne between the cherubim. Let the whole earth quake! 

FEAR

Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.  Do not fear the people around you, fear God.  Respect Him.  Praise Him.  Know Him.  The Lord is God and there is no other. 

04/19          1 Peter 1:24-25 

As the Scriptures say, “People are like grass; their beauty is like a flower in the field. The grass withers and the flower fades. 25 But the word of the Lord remains forever.” And that word is the Good News that was preached to you.

FADING

Our lives are fading.  Some sooner than others.  The truth is none of us know when we will go to be with the Lord therefore today must count.  Every day is a good day.  Rejoice.  Jesus loves you. 

04/18          1 Peter 1:23

For you have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. Your new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living word of God. 

NOW

Eternal life begins now.  As you struggle daily be of good cheer for you are an eternal creature right now and nothing can separate you from the Love of God.  Nothing.

04/17          1 Peter 1:22 

You were cleansed from your sins when you obeyed the truth, so now you must show sincere love to each other as brothers and sisters. Love each other deeply with all your heart. 

LOVE

He loves us therefore we are called to love one another.  Loving those you see verifies that you love the Father whom you cannot see.  Jesus is Lord and He loves you. 

04/16          1 Peter 1:21 

Through Christ you have come to trust in God. And you have placed your faith and hope in God because he raised Christ from the dead and gave him great glory. 

CHRIST

Jesus is our salvation-He is our relationship provider.  Through Jesus we become a member of the family of God.  We can know that we are His because Jesus says we are and we believe Him.  Trust in the Lord with all your heart and He will come close to you. 

04/15          1 Peter 1:20 

God chose him as your ransom long before the world began, but now in these last days he has been revealed for your sake. 

CARES

God cares for you.  No matter what you have done, how evil you have been, God cares for you.  Jesus shed His blood for you.  However brutal your life or you have been God is seeking you, giving you an opportunity to become a part of His family.  Jesus loves you.
