02/22          Matthew 6:3-4

But when you give to someone in need, don’t let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. 4 Give your gifts in private, and your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.

DO

Do good and do it often.  Do good and do it because the Father has asked you to be generous.  When we minister to the poor the Father says He is in our debt.  Jesus loves you therefore you should love those around you. 

02/21          Matthew 6:1-2

“Watch out! Don’t do your good deeds publicly, to be admired by others, for you will lose the reward from your Father in heaven. 2 When you give to someone in need, don’t do as the hypocrites do—blowing trumpets in the synagogues and streets to call attention to their acts of charity! I tell you the truth, they have received all the reward they will ever get.

QUIETLY

Do your good deeds quietly.  The Father will reward you.  Develop a habit of generosity.  Do good to others.  Forgive quickly.  See forgiveness for your sin immediately don’t let it linger on your psyche.  Jesus is Lord and He will keep us on the right track as we seek His quidance. 

02/20          Psalm 8:5
Yet you made them only a little lower than God and crowned them with glory and honor. 6 You gave them charge of everything you made, putting all things under their authority— 7 the flocks and the herds and all the wild animals, 8 the birds in the sky, the fish in the sea, and everything that swims the ocean currents. 9 O LORD, our Lord, your majestic name fills the earth!

PURPOSE
The Lord has a particular plan for your life.  It just fits you.  It begins now and stretches out into Eternity. 

02/19          Psalm 8:3-4
When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers— the moon and the stars you set in place— 4 what are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them?

CARES
God cares for you.  He created you.  He shepherds you through your entire life.  He loves you.  Jesus cares for you. 

02/18          Psalm 8:1-2
1 O LORD, our Lord, your majestic name fills the earth! Your glory is higher than the heavens. 2 You have taught children and infants to tell of your strength, silencing your enemies and all who oppose you.

GLORY
The Lord’s glory is immense.  It fills the Earth, the heavens, the universes and still is not the full story.  God is greater than anything we can imagine and He loves you. 

02/17          Psalm 121:6-8
The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon at night. 7 The LORD keeps you from all harm and watches over your life. 8 The LORD keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.

INTIMATE
The Lord Jesus is intimate with His children.  He cares for us, our physical well being as this notes and our spiritual well being as this also infers.  Every movement we make, each step, the Lord is aware about them and concerned for our well being. 

02/16          Psalm 121:4-5
Indeed, he who watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps. 5 The LORD himself watches over you! The LORD stands beside you as your protective shade.

AWAKE
The Lord Jesus is awake 24/7 and He always knows what is going on in your life.  He will never leave you.  He will give you the wisdom, mercy and grace that you need to live a Godly life.  Listen to Him.  He is talking to you. 

02/15          Psalm 121:2-3
2 My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth! 3 He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber.

CONNECTED
Jesus is connected with our lives.  He knows what is going on even better than we do.  Trust in the Lord and let Him have control of your life.  Jesus cares for you. 

02/14          Psalm 23:6
6 Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the LORD forever.

NOW
Now we dream and yearn for the future when the future is in us.  Jesus is the future and He is the now.  Now we have an eternal relationship and are equipped for good works and eternal service. 

02/13          Psalm 20:4

4 May he grant your heart’s desires and make all your plans succeed.

SUCCESS

Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith.  He stands with us through thick and thin and He is the giver of success.  We seek to serve Him.  We want to do what He leads us to do.  Jesus is our success.
