07/22 Psalm 119:71
The suffering you sent was good for me, for it taught me to pay attention to your principles.
SUFFERING
We seldom understand God’s work in the midst of suffering and even later we will not have a clear idea of what went on but do not despair. Life is hard and suffering is something that everyone experiences. Often times it appears so unfair but remember that the Lord is the ONE who can redeem a bad situation
As we look in the rear view mirror of life we will sometimes see much later the work that the Lord did in us thru suffering.

07/21 Psalm 119:70
Their hearts are dull and stupid, but I delight in your law.
WISDOM
Wisdom comes through our surrender to Christ. He saves us and gives us a new heart and a new family, the family of God. As a member of the Lord’s family I receive wisdom daily sometimes moment by moment from the Lord.

07/20 Psalm 119:69
Arrogant people have made up lies about me, but in truth I obey your commandments with all my heart.
ONLY
Lord You are the only One that knows my heart and I surrender to You. Keep me safe in Your arms and equip be to function and survive when under an untruthful attack. Lead me in the everlasting way as only You can do.

07/19 Psalm 119:67-68
I used to wander off until you disciplined me; but now I closely follow your word. 68 You are good and do only good; teach me your principles.
TEACH
Teach me Lord to not wander off from you, to listen as you speak and to obey what you say. My heart despairs so easily please give me endurance. Obstacles easily defeat me please give me strength and wisdom to stand my ground and move forward. Your love Lord undergirds all that I do. Thank you Lord for teaching me.

07/18 Psalm 119:66
I believe in your commands; now teach me good judgment and knowledge.
OBEDIENCE
Trust and obey is the only way to a successful life. Jesus seeks our best good. He knows what we need and when we need it. Give your heart to Jesus and He will never disappoint you.

07/17 Psalm 119:64-65
O LORD, the earth is full of your unfailing love; teach me your principles. 65 You have done many good things for me, LORD, just as you promised.
ACTIVE
The Lord is active in our life. He is seeking our best good. Surrender your heart and your time to Jesus and get to know Him. Read His Word and let it take root in your heart. Jesus is the difference in a life well lived. We come and go and Jesus takes us with Him into eternity when we leave this earth.

07/16 Psalm 119:61-63
Evil people try to drag me into sin, but I am firmly anchored to your law. 62 At midnight I rise to thank you for your just laws. 63 Anyone who fears you is my friend — anyone who obeys your commandments.
OBEDIENCE
Obedience is the mark of a faithful servant. We want to be faithful servants therefore we will obey Him. Obedience is not logic it is surrender. Christ lays out what I am to do and how I should do it. It is important for me to understand that His wisdom isn’t for us to debate rather it is for us to obey. Trust the Lord and Obey Him.

07/15 Psalm 119:59-60
I pondered the direction of my life, and I turned to follow your statutes. 60 I will hurry, without lingering, to obey your commands.
HURRY
Hurry to repent. Hurry to obey. Be quick to listen and slow to speak. Jesus is Lord and we are His servants. Bend your knee and obey the Lord.

07/14 Psalm 119:56-58
This is my happy way of life: obeying your commandments. 57 LORD, you are mine! I promise to obey your words! 58 With all my heart I want your blessings. Be merciful just as you promised.
MINE
Jesus is mine. He walks with me and talks with me. I belong to the Lord and He belongs to me. The key in walking with Jesus is obedience. If we do not obey we are walking off from the Lord by ourself. Trust and obey for that is the only way.

07/13 Psalm 119:55
I reflect at night on who you are, O LORD, and I obey your law because of this.
OBEY
The Lord calls us to OBEY Him. We cannot say we don’t know what to do because the right thing to do is in our heart. We call Him Savior and He is but for us to call Him Savior there must be a desire in our heart to OBEY Him. Today read His Word, listen for His voice and do what Jesus says for you to do.
