09/23          1 Corinthians 10:13

¹³ The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.

ALL

We all face temptation.

Everyone’s temptation is tailored by Satan to affect them the most.

Don’t accept the lie that no one is having as hard a time as you.

Everybody stumbles.

Everybody fails.

Jesus saves us, once unto eternity and every time we fail.

Turn to Jesus, focus on HIM. 

Jesus never fails. 

09/22          2 Timothy 2:4

⁴ Soldiers don’t get tied up in the affairs of civilian life, for then they cannot please the officer who enlisted them.

FOCUS

Everyday focus on Jesus.

When times are hard, focus on Jesus.

When you fail, focus on Jesus.

When you succeed, focus on Jesus. 

Always focus on Jesus. 

09/21          1 Peter 2:9

⁹ But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests,^[a] a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.

SALVATION

Saved to serve.

Chosen by God.

Called to love others.

To be His hands and feet.

Jesus is Lord. 

09/20          Colossians 1:12-13

¹² always thanking the Father. He has enabled you to share in the inheritance that belongs to his people, who live in the light. ¹³ For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son,

FAMILY

Jesus offers us His grace gift of salvation.

It is eternal, guaranteed by Jesus. 

We are now members of God’s family. 

We will reap those benefits by and by. 

Jesus is Lord, we love Him, He loves us. 

09/19          1 Corinthians 15:57

⁵⁷ But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.

EVERYTHING

We come to Jesus by faith in Him. 

He responds with His grace gift of cleansing.

His blood cleanses us from of our sin.

He gives us the Spirit of God so that we will have God’s power,

To live Godly lives constantly growing in Christ. 

Jesus is God’s everything.

He brings to us everything we will need for growth,

And everything we need for eternal life. 

09/18          1 John 4:4

⁴ But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.

FILLED

We come to Jesus and

We are filled with the Spirit of God.

Simple.

Lest yes come as little children.

We are filled because He committed the indwelling

Of the Holy Spirit to us. 

We believe the Lord.

We believe that we are indeed walking in the Spirit. 

09/17          John 16:33

³³ I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”

PEACE

Jesus gives us His peace.

It is peace from the Father.

It is not like the world’s peace, ebbing and flowing, coming and going.

His peace is constant and eternal.

His peace does not depend on events.

His peace does not come only with plenty.

He peace is real peace and Jesus gives it to us

When we believe in Him. 

09/16          Romans 8:37

³⁷ No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.

VICTORY

Victory in Jesus. 

Victory in Jesus.

He holds the victory.

Every step we take, every move we make,

Is a journey in victory. 

Jesus is the victory. 

09/15          Matthew 24:12-13

¹² Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the love of many will grow cold. ¹³ But the one who endures to the end will be saved.

ENDURE

Endure.

Focus on Jesus, love Him and love one another.

Believe in Him, pray for the lost. 

Trust Him day by day.

HE will take care of you. 

09/14          1 John 5:4-5

⁴ But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world. ⁵ Those people belong to this world, so they speak from the world’s viewpoint, and the world listens to them.

FOCUS

Focus your mind and heart on Jesus. 

He will guide you and bring light to your life. 

Do not be disappointed that the world ignores you,

And will often persecute you for believing in Jesus. 

Trust in the Lord and He will guide you home.
