APRIL 17 – JOHN 14:1-3

04/17          JOHN 14:1-3

“Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. There is more than enough room in my Father’s home.[a] If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?[b] When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.

PREPARED

God is always prepared; nothing takes Him by surprise.

He prepares us for every challenge we will face.

Trust in Jesus Christ, the Father, and the Holy Spirit, three in One.

Now Jesus is with us where we are.

One day soon we will be with Him where He is-always.

APRIL 16 – PS. 29:11

It is adequate to meet any challenge.

He gives us His peace.

In Jesus we can stand fast even if the world shakes.

We belong to the Lord.

APRIL 15 – EPH. 2:14

04/15          EPHESIANS 2:14

For Christ himself has brought peace to us. He united Jews and Gentiles into one people when, in his own body on the cross, he broke down the wall of hostility that separated us.

UNITED

We are united in Jesus Christ.

He brings Jew and Gentile together.
We belong to Him; HE has brought us into the Family of God.

Praise the Lord for He has saved us by His own blood on the cross.

Praise the Lord for we belong to Him.

APRIL 14 – JOHN 14:27

04/14          JOHN 14:27

FEAR

There is no fear in Jesus.

He brings us His courage and strength through the Holy Spirit.

The Father gifts us with His peace of mind and heart.

Walk in faith.

Jesus is with you, enabling you to walk in the Spirit.

Jesus loves you.

APRIL 13 – PHIL. 4:6-7

04/13          PHILIPPIANS 4:6-7

6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

CONNECT

Connect with the Father.

Jesus makes it possible.

The Father is interested in every aspect of your life.

Tell Him what you need.

Thank Him for what He has done and is doing.

He will give you His peace.

He will guard your heart and enable you to live a Godly life.

APRIL 12 – ISAIAH 26:3

04/12          ISAIAH 26:3

You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!

TRUST

Trust the Lord.

Trust in Jesus.

Simple.

Basic.

Trust in Jesus covers you in perfect peace.

Trust in Jesus and HE will guide you in the way you should go.

Trust brings results.

Focus on Jesus and let Him clear your mind and heart.

APRIL 11 – 2 COR. 2:13

04/11          2 CORINTHIANS 2:13

But I had no peace of mind because my dear brother Titus hadn’t yet arrived with a report from you. So I said good-bye and went on to Macedonia to find him.

GUIDANCE

There are many ways the Lord can guide us.

No peace of mind is often the Lord guiding.

An opportunity or lack of opportunity may be guidance.

Stay close to Jesus, focus your mind on Him.

Listen to Him.

Read the Word.

God will guide you.

APR. 10 – 1 PETER 4:1-2

4/10 1 Peter 4:1-2

So then, since Christ suffered physical pain, you must arm yourselves with the same attitude he had, and be ready to suffer, too. For if you have suffered physically for Christ, you have finished with sin.[a]2 You won’t spend the rest of your lives chasing your own desires, but you will be anxious to do the will of God. You have had enough in the past of the evil things that godless people enjoy—their immorality and lust, their feasting and drunkenness and wild parties, and their terrible worship of idols.

HE IS ALIVE – SPREAD THE WORD – HE IS ALIVE

Jesus came to Earth-to die in our place.
He lived our pain.
He knew our chaos and heartache.
Every rejection we suffer-He suffered too.

The world He created rejected Him.
His own people crucified Him.
Oh, the heartache and rejection He suffered.
Take our heartache, our pain and multiply by infinity.
Jesus took it all.

At His point of greatest rejection.
All His disciples left Him except John.
He was beaten and bruised for me.
Scourged by the Romans, rejected by the priests.
The people clamored for His crucifixion.
He did it for me.  He did it for you.

They mocked Him, they hurt Him.
They marched Him to the Cross.
Hell rejoiced-soon He would be dead.
The thief on the cross would soon be with Him in Heaven.
Christ died on that old, rugged Cross.  We are guilty.
Every sin He paid for, you and me He died for.

The babe born in Bethlehem.
Welcomed by choirs of angels.
Shepherds running to meet the new born.
Soon Wise Men from the East would honor him.
There was a sacred celebration at His arrival.
He performed miracles and preached amazing sermons that speak today.

Friday it all faded to black.
He was crucified, seemingly rejected by mankind.
He descended into Hell.
By the power of God, He defeated death and Easter morning arose from the dead.
Today He is seated at the right hand of God.
Interceding with the Father for us.

Jesus will save you.  He is looking for you right this minute.
Thank God He does.

APRIL 9 – PROV. 3:5

04/09          PROVERBS 3:5

Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.

SIMPLE

No logic.

Only Jesus.

Trust Him.

He will watch over you.

He will guide your way!

APRIL 8 – COL. 3:2-5

04/08          COLOSSIANS 3:2-5

2 Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. 3 For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 And when Christ, who is your[a]life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory.

5 So put to death the sinful, earthly things lurking within you. Have nothing to do with sexual immorality, impurity, lust, and evil desires. Don’t be greedy, for a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world.

THINK
YOU!  Think about heaven and Jesus.
He is Lord.
We are not.
Turn to Him.
He takes our hand.
He leads us in His victory.
Without Jesus we will lose every battle.
With Jesus we will not lose.
