09/25             1 John 5:20

20 And we know that the Son of God has come, and he has given us understanding so that we can know the true God.[a] And now we live in fellowship with the true God because we live in fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ. He is the only true God, and he is eternal life.

SON

The Son of God has come.

He came to earth and died in our place to pay the price of our sin.

HE gives us understanding.

When we know Jesus the Holy Spirit comes into our life.

He guides us in all things spiritual.

We live in fellowship with God through Jesus.

Jesus is Lord.

SEPT. 24 – 1 JOHN 5:13

09/24             1 John 5:13

13 I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life.

KNOW

We pray.

We live.

We are.

But, only in Jesus do we have eternal life.

Life like God’s life.

We become members of His household.

He is the Creator and Sustainer of all things.

We live and breathe in Jesus.

Follow Him.

SEPT. 22 – 1 JOHN 2:17

09/22             1 John 2:17

09/21             1 Peter 5:10

10 In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation.

JOURNEY

We begin with Jesus.

We grow and continue with Jesus.

We will finish with Jesus and be with Him forever.

SEPT. 20 – ROMANS 6:22-23

09/20             Romans 6:22-23

22 But now you are free from the power of sin and have become slaves of God. Now you do those things that lead to holiness and result in eternal life. 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.

YES

Yes, you chose Jesus.

He chose you.

You now live an eternal life.

Jesus is your life.

He brings light and life to you.

He guides you so that you can walk in wisdom.

His mercies are new each day.

His love is for you is eternal.

He will never leave you.

SEPT. 19 – ROMANS 5:21

21 So just as sin ruled over all people and brought them to death, now God’s wonderful grace rules instead, giving us right standing with God and resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

RULES

Grace rules.

God is eternal-He created all things.

He chose to forgive us in Jesus Christ.

We can choose God or deny Him.

Failure to choose is denying God.

Bend your knee, accept Jesus.

SEPT. 18 – JOHN 17:3

09/18             John 17:3

3 And this is the way to have eternal life—to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth.

ONLY

Jesus is the only way to the Father.

There is no other way.

We can choose the way we go.

Failing to choose means that we have not chosen Jesus.

Choose Jesus before it is too late.

SEPT. 17 – JOHN 10:28-30

09/17          John 10:28-30

28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me, 29 for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else.[a] No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand. 30 The Father and I are one.”

ONE

Father, Son and Holy Spirit are One.

We are given eternal life, and we will never perish.

No one can take us from the Father’s hand.

Nothing!

JESUS

Jesus the Creator,

Filled with glory and grace.

He came to die, to save us from our sin.

To enable us to become a member of the family of God.

He is Lord.
