JAN. 27 – PHIL. 4:13

1/27            Philippians 4:13

For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.

WHAT 

What the Lord Jesus calls us to do we can.  What the Lord calls us to do He will provide the wisdom, mercy, and grace that we need moment by moment to accomplish the assigned task.  God is faithful and strong, and He will not abandon us.  

JAN. 26 – DEUT. 31:6

1/26            Deuteronomy 31:6

So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the LORD your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.” 

FAITHFUL

The Lord is faithful.  He has said He will not fail us, and He won’t.  His promises do not depend on our strength, the Lord is faithful and has said He will not fail us or abandon us and He won’t.  So be strong in the Lord.  He is your strength and guide.  Jesus is Lord.  

JAN. 25 – PSALM 28:7

1/25            Psalm 28:7

The LORD is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.

FOCUS

Is your focus on Jesus?  Are you obeying the Word as the Holy Spirit directs you?  If you are, then you will be filled with the presence of the Holy Spirit and directed by the power of God resulting in peace like a river flowing in your soul.  

JAN. 24 – HEB. 4:16

1/24            Hebrews 4:16

So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

NEED

When you need it, God is at work.  His mercy is effective and overflowing.  His grace is always enough to help you when you need it.  Our Father is present and His love never falters.  God is love.  

JAN. 23 – 1 JOHN 1:9

1/23            1 John 1:9

But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.

FAITHFUL

Jesus is faithful.  He is God.  He loves us.  He forgives our sins when we repent and He cleanses us from all wickedness.  

JAN. 22 – JOHN 3:16-17

1/22            John 3:16-17

“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. 

17 God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.

IN

When we are saved, we are IN Christ Jesus.  He is Lord and Savior.  He paid the price for our redemption and salvation.  We belong to Him.  We have been bought with a price.  Jesus Christ is our salvation, our focus and our Lord.  He provides everything we need for an eternal relationship with Him.  

JAN. 21 – PSALM 40:3

1/21            Psalm 40:3

 He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what he has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the LORD .

LIFE

Life is in the Lord.  Jesus brings us into the family of God.  We put our trust in His work, His love, His promises.  He is Lord and King of the Universe.  Thank you Lord for saving me.  

JAN. 20 – PHIL 3:13-14

1/20            Philippians 3:13-14

13 Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. 

FORWARD

Life is for living.  We live in Christ our Lord and Savior, and we keep our eyes on Him.  He guides through each day.  He equips us to deal with failure and not be overrun.  Continue in Jesus.  One day you will see Him face to face.  Praise the Lord from whom all blessings flow.  Jesus is Lord.  

JAN. 19 – ISAIAH 65:17

1/19            Isaiah 65:17

“Look! I am creating new heavens and a new earth, and no one will even think about the old ones anymore.

SOON

Time is a task master that we cannot get free from.  But one day we will be with the Lord, in Heaven, and we will live for eternity with Him without time.  

JAN. 18 – MT. 7:7

1/18            Matthew 7:7

“Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.

EXPECTS

The Lord expects us to keep pounding on His door and He will open it.  Ask!
