NOV. 14 – ROMANS 6:15

11/14          Romans 6:15

Well then, since God’s grace has set us free from the law, does that mean we can go on sinning? Of course not!

NO

No, we are free to serve.
Learn to care for others.

Take on a cloak of humility from your heart.

Think of others before yourself.

Know that the Lord, He is God and He sees you.

Serve Him with gladness.

The Lord Jesus brings us peace and joy.

Jesus will take care of you.

For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.

24 Yet God freely and graciously declares that we are righteous. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins.

RIGHTEOUS

God calls us righteous.

He has done this through Jesus Christ.

Whatever you need Jesus can do it.

Whatever God created you to be Jesus will take you there.

Trust in the Lord and HE will do it.

May the grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s holy people.

HOLY

It’s hard for us to think of ourselves as Holy.

If we ask Jesus to save us, He will.

Jesus makes us Holy.

Not by what we do but by His power and grace.

We are Holy because He is Lord and Creator and gives us His holiness.

Jesus is Lord.

NOV. 11 – EPH. 2:8-9

God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.

9 Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.

GIFT

Ask Him.

Salvation is a gift.

God gives it to you.

He calls you to share this Word with others.

The Lord is gracious and He will save you.

He is faithful and just to forgive you and give you eternal life.

HARD

This is a hard thing.

When others mistreat us we want revenge.

Our ego demands satisfaction.

Give your ego to the Lord.

The Holy Spirit will heal your heart.

Humble yourself under God’s mighty hand.

He will take care of you.

Forgive and forget.  The Lord will repay you.

NOV. 9 – ROMANS 6:14

11/09          Romans 6:14

14 Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace.

CHAINS

NO chains.

Bad habits.

Let the Holy Spirit indwell you.

He will guide you through breaking bad habits.

Be usable.

Be useful.

Stand with Jesus.

He will never leave you.

HELP

What do you need?

God will help you.

Ask Him.

Trust Him.

Wait on Him.

You are filled with the Holy Spirit.

Filled with God’s power and strength.

Wait on Him and He will do it.

11/07          2 Timothy 1:9

9 For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did this, not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan from before the beginning of time—to show us his grace through Christ Jesus.

CALL

Our call is from the Lord.

He calls us to be His hands and feet.

The Lord will place you on a firm foundation.

We share in Christ’s glory-a gift from God our Father.

In this world you will suffer but the Lord will restore you.

The Lord will strengthen you.

The Lord will support you and place you on a firm foundation.
