09/25          Luke 6:36

³⁶ You must be compassionate, just as your Father is compassionate.

PEOPLE

People count with the Lord.  We count with Jesus and as His servants, His followers people count with us.  We grieve with them and do what we can to alleviate their suffering.  People need food-we provide that.  People need work-we help them get a job.  People need value-we encourage and honor them.  We are the hands and feet of Jesus.  Jesus is Lord-He is Lord of all.  

09/24          Hebrews 4:14-16

¹⁴ So then, since we have a great High Priest who has entered heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe. ¹⁵ This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin. ¹⁶ So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

COME 

Come to Jesus.  He knows what you are feeling.  He loves you.  Come to Jesus, ask Him to heal your life, guard your heart and lead you in the everlasting way of joy and peace.  

09/23          Hebrews 2:17-18

¹⁷ Therefore, it was necessary for him to be made in every respect like us, his brothers and sisters,^[h] so that he could be our merciful and faithful High Priest before God. Then he could offer a sacrifice that would take away the sins of the people. ¹⁸ Since he himself has gone through suffering and testing, he is able to help us when we are being tested.

KNOWS

JESUS knows everything about us and everything we need.  He knows.  Go to Him.  Ask Him to lead, guide and direct your life.  Place your faith in Jesus.  

09/22          Mark 6:34

³⁴ Jesus saw the huge crowd as he stepped from the boat, and he had compassion on them because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So he began teaching them many things.

NEED

We have a great need.  We are suffering from misdirection, loneliness, fear, anxiety and desperation in dealing with life.  Jesus comes to us and brings the solution to life-peace and joy.  The Spirit of God resides in us and gives us the same power in us that raised Jesus from the dead.  God in us.  Our warrior creed.  

09/21          Ephesians 2:4-5

⁴ But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, ⁵ that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!) 

RICH

God has enough mercy for you.  It will fit your life and overflow into everything you do.  Our Lord Jesus loves us more than we can comprehend.  Our Father raised Him from the dead and He is seated at the Father’s right hand.  He gave us the free gift of life in Jesus Christ.  Believe in Him and you will be saved. 

09/20          John 3:16

¹⁶ “For this is how God loved the world: He gave^[g] his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
LIFE
THE FREE GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE IN JESUS CHRIST.  

09/19          Micah 7:18-19

¹⁸ Where is another God like you, who pardons the guilt of the remnant, overlooking the sins of his special people?  You will not stay angry with your people forever, because you delight in showing unfailing love. ¹⁹ Once again you will have compassion on us.  You will trample our sins under your feet and throw them into the depths of the ocean!

PARDON

Our Father, Son, and Holy Spirit provide everything we need for salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God.  He died for us and was raised by the power of God.  Praise God for His salvation in Jesus Christ.    

09/18          Lamentations 3:22-23

²² The faithful love of the Lord never ends!^!   His mercies never cease.  ²³ Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.

MERCY

GOD’S mercy is exactly what you need.  You need it every day.  You need it overflowing and washing over you.  His mercy is great, and it exactly fits you.  

09/17          Psalm 145:8-9

⁸ The Lord is merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.  ⁹ The Lord is good to everyone.  He showers compassion on all his creation.

COUNT

YOU COUNT with Jesus.  He is the Lord and He loves you.  He is concerned about everything in your life.  Praise the Lord.  Jesus loves you.

09/16          Psalm 89:14

¹⁴ Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne.  Unfailing love and truth walk before you as attendants.

GOD
God is love.  He loves us.  His love is deep enough and wide enough to meet the needs of every person He has created.  His love never fails.  You are loved.
