8/01                 Isaiah 57:15
The high and lofty one who lives in eternity, the Holy One, says this: “I live in the high and holy place with those whose spirits are contrite and humble. I restore the crushed spirit of the humble and revive the courage of those with repentant hearts.

REAL
God is real.  He reveals Himself and His requirements to us in His Word.  He is the source of life and He is the giver of new life in Jesus Christ.  He remembers everything especially the requirements He gives us for life like His.

07/31   Isaiah 52:7

7 How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the messenger who brings good news, the good news of peace and salvation, the news that the God of Israel reigns!

TELL

Tell every person about what Jesus is doing in my life.  Tell the story.  Tell the rescue.  Tell.

07/30   Psalm 143:7-8

7 Come quickly, LORD, and answer me, for my depression deepens. Don’t turn away from me, or I will die.  8 Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting you. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to you.

YOU

The Lord is everything.  We love Him and follow Him.  Our goal every day is to listen to Him and do what He says.  God is in control.  My life makes sense.  I have value and worth.  Jesus. 

07/29   Psalm 34:17-18

17 The LORD hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. 18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.

HEARS

The Lord hears you when you cry out to Him for help.  He will listen to your request. When you are hurting the Lord is with you.  When our spirits are crushed, He rescues us from destruction.  He knows where we are and what we need.  Our God, the Lord Jesus Christ rescues us from our troubles.    

07/28   Psalm 42:11

11 Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God!

PROPER

We need to have the proper focus.  We need the proper God.  It is the Lord God Almighty, the Lord Jesus Christ.  He is Creator, enabler, sustainer!  He gives us forgiveness, we are bought with a price, and brings us into God’s family.  We put our hope in Jesus.  He is God’s everything.  

07/27   Psalm 32:7

7 For you are my hiding place; you protect me from trouble. You surround me with songs of victory. Interlude

PROTECTS

God protects us.  He can do that many ways, but the real truth is that He wants to protect us.  Talk with Him.  Ask Him to protect you.

07/26   Psalm 31:7

I will be glad and rejoice in your unfailing love, for you have seen my troubles, and you care about the anguish of my soul.

SEE

God sees everything.  He knows everything about us.  He knows our trouble first-hand for He is there.  Talk with Him.  He will see you through and the Holy Spirit will guide you in the way you should go.  

07/25   Psalm 30:11

You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy,

ACTIVITY

The activity of God in our life is a good activity.  We are His beloved children and He is seeking our best good.  Do not fear-God knows where you are and what is happening in your life and HE IS WITH YOU.

07/24   Psalm 30:5

For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime! Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.

PROBLEMS

Jesus handles our problems.  Whatever you are facing, the Lord is with you to guide you through it.  Trust Jesus and He will see you through.  

07/23   Psalm 23:4

Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.

FEAR

Fear is constant.  Humanity dreads the unknown future.  Jesus knows the end from the beginning, and He is with us.  He has sent the Holy Spirit to guide step by step in life.  Jesus loves us, cares for us, is with us and instructs us: DO NOT FEAR.
