06/22          Psalm 23:5-6

5 You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings.  6 Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the LORD forever.

PURSUE

The Lord will never leave me.  

He is my protector of my life.

His hand is on me and pursuing me.

I am with Him all the time because He chooses to be with me.  

Everything I am and have is from His hand.  

He is forever.  He will never forget me.  Nothing catches Him by surprise.  

He is Lord.  He is my Lord.  

06/21          Psalm 23:3-4

3 He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. 4 Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.

LOVE

The Lord, my shepherd loves me.

He renews my strength.

His hand, the Holy Spirit, guides me moment by moment. 

Nothing is hidden from Him.

I can talk with Him about everything.

His mercies are new each morning.  

I have nothing to fear, for My Shepherd protects and comforts me. 

The Lord is my shepherd.  

06/20          Psalm 23:1-2

1 The LORD is my shepherd; I have all that I need.  2 He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams.

SHEPHERD

We are like sheep, always going astray.  The Lord is our Shepherd and He is guiding us in everything we do.  The Lord is a good, good shepherd.  Every thought He has towards us is a thought for good.  

  

06/19          John 10:26-30

26 But you don’t believe me because you are not my sheep. 

27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. 

28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me, 

29 for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else. No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand. 

30 The Father and I are one.”

LORD

Jesus is Lord.  

He will protect us and salvage our lives for Himself.  

He is our protector, encourager and Savior.  

We belong to Him and He will never let us go.

He knows us.  He knows everything about us.  

Jesus is Lord.

06/18          2 Samuel 22:3-4

3 my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety. He is my refuge, my savior, the one who saves me from violence. 

4 I called on the LORD, who is worthy of praise, and he saved me from my enemies.

ROCK

Jesus saves. 

He saves us from powerful enemies. 

He provides safety for our daily walk.

He will not leave us or forget us.  

Jesus loves you.  He loves me. 

We belong to Him, and He will save us from our enemies.  

06/17          2 Corinthians 4:8-9

8 We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. 

9 We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed.

LIFE

Life in this world is problematical.  

Everybody has problems.  

Your problem may not sidetrack me.

My problem may not cause you to despair.  

But a problem is a problem.  

Jesus takes our problems seriously and solves them.  

He is king and king over all things.  

Trust Jesus and stand up.  He will keep you from falling.  

06/16          1 Thessalonians 5:23-24

23 Now may the God of peace make you holy in every way, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ comes again. 24 God will make this happen, for he who calls you is faithful.

FAITHFUL

God is faithful.  

He is always seeking our best good. 

Salvation is His gift.

Obedience is our gift.  

Trust the Lord and He will do it.  

  

06/15          Psalm 140:4

4 O LORD, keep me out of the hands of the wicked. Protect me from those who are violent, for they are plotting against me.

PROTECT

Lord, only You can keep me away from violent people.

Guide my steps away from violence and confrontation.  

Instruct me in Your way.

You know all things and your way guides me into peace. 

No one is seeking for Your best Lord.  Help my unbelief.

Lead me in Your Godly way.  

Keep me out of the hands of the wicked.

Give me favor for a peaceful life.  

06/14          Psalm 138:7

7 Though I am surrounded by troubles, you will protect me from the anger of my enemies. You reach out your hand, and the power of your right hand saves me.

YOU

Thank you Lord.  You protect me.  I am grateful.  Even though I often don’t see you at work, my life bears testimony to your protection.  Thank you, Lord.  Life is chaotic.  You bring peace.  Thank you Lord.  

06/13          Psalm 59:1

1 Rescue me from my enemies, O God. Protect me from those who have come to destroy me.

PROTECTThe Lord says that He will protect us.  Protect me Lord.  I believe You.  Help my unbelief.  Thank you Lord.
