8/07                 Psalm 85:4-6
Now restore us again, O God of our salvation. Put aside your anger against us once more. 5. Will you be angry with us always? Will you prolong your wrath to all generations?  6. Won’t you revive us again, so your people can rejoice in you?

CONFESSION

Lord, You are overflowing with mercy and forgiveness.  Forgive us.  Restore us.  We need You Lord.  We need You.

8/06                 Psalm 80:18-19
Then we will never abandon you again. Revive us so we can call on your name once more.  19 Turn us again to yourself, O LORD God of Heaven’s Armies. Make your face shine down upon us. Only then will we be saved.

SAVE

God saves.  He will save us.  Turn to the Lord.  Ask Him.  He will save you.

It’s all God.  Everything we are comes from God.  His favor carries us through the worst situations.  We know Him Because He came looking for us.  Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, HE is God’s everything.  Thank you for saving me.

Turn us again to yourself, O God. Make your face shine down upon us. Only then will we be saved.

TRUST

We trust the Lord.  He is constantly looking over us.  He never forgets anything about out lives.  Jesus is Lord.  Trust Him.

Wash me clean from my guilt. Purify me from my sin.

SIN
We turn to the Lord for forgiveness.  Only He can cleanse us.  Whatever we think is wrong.  God is the right way.  Follow Jesus.

8/02                 2 Chronicles 7:14
Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.
REVIVAL
Pray to our Father.  Seek His face.  Ask for forgiveness.  Change.  Simple and profound at the same time.  God calls us to account.  He has given us the way we should go.  Follow Jesus.

The high and lofty one who lives in eternity, the Holy One, says this: “I live in the high and holy place with those whose spirits are contrite and humble. I restore the crushed spirit of the humble and revive the courage of those with repentant hearts.

REAL
God is real.  He reveals Himself and His requirements to us in His Word.  He is the source of life and He is the giver of new life in Jesus Christ.  He remembers everything especially the requirements He gives us for life like His.

07/31   Isaiah 52:7

7 How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the messenger who brings good news, the good news of peace and salvation, the news that the God of Israel reigns!

TELL

Tell every person about what Jesus is doing in my life.  Tell the story.  Tell the rescue.  Tell.

07/30   Psalm 143:7-8

7 Come quickly, LORD, and answer me, for my depression deepens. Don’t turn away from me, or I will die.  8 Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting you. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to you.

YOU

The Lord is everything.  We love Him and follow Him.  Our goal every day is to listen to Him and do what He says.  God is in control.  My life makes sense.  I have value and worth.  Jesus. 

07/29   Psalm 34:17-18

17 The LORD hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. 18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.

HEARS

The Lord hears you when you cry out to Him for help.  He will listen to your request. When you are hurting the Lord is with you.  When our spirits are crushed, He rescues us from destruction.  He knows where we are and what we need.  Our God, the Lord Jesus Christ rescues us from our troubles.
